Manny Pacquiao was born on December 17, 1978, in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Philippines, to Rosalio Pacquiao and Dionisia Dapidran-Pacquiao.
He is of Filipino ethnicity and grew up with Bobby Pacquiao, Rogelio Pacquiao, Domingo Silvestre, Isidra Pacquiao-Paglinawan, and Liza Silvestre-Onding.
