Early Life and Education
Kim Tae-hyung was born on December 30, 1995, in Daegu, South Korea. He was raised by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, and spent much of his childhood with his grandparents in Geochang County before reuniting with his family.
He has two siblings, Kim Eun Jin and Kim Jong Gyu. V attended Korean Arts High School and later graduated from Global Cyber University, where he studied Broadcasting and Entertainment.
Career
Kim Tae-hyung joined Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee in 2011 and debuted in 2013 as BTS’s vocalist V.
As a member of the group, he has contributed to numerous global chart-topping albums and singles, helping BTS become one of the world’s best-selling music acts.
He has also written and co-written songs, including “Hold Me Tight,” “Blue & Grey,” and “Inner Child.”
